Jija Sohn

Jija Sohn, a Japanese/Korean performer and choreographer, based in the Netherlands, studied applied linguistics in the US, before focusing on performance art. In 2015, she graduated from the School of New Dance Development (SNDO), in Amsterdam and was the first choreographer selected for the Moving Forward Process. In 2017 she was awarded with the ‘3PACKAGE DEAL’ by the Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunsten. Currently she works with arp.works (artistic research production) in Brussels and is supported by Dans Brabant in the Frame of the Talent Development grant PLAN, Brabant (NL).
