After having danced for the Nederlands Dans Theater and other world-class companies, Shintaro Oue now works with C/Ompany with Shintaro Hirahara et al. while providing choreographies for the Swedish Cullberg Ballet and others. Combining dynamic movements and a free, uninhibited way of thinking, his work is always a lot of fun. Hirahara built the foundation of his career in the Japanese companies Noism and Condors while creating on his own unique works mixing movements with texts. Completing the trio is Mirai Moriyama who is better known as an actor, but his dance experience is also extensive: he has performed for Israeli choreographer Inbal Pinto, playing the main role in her latest creation DUST last year. The three are all currently working or studying overseas, so they get together here and there in Europe to create. All three have strong characters and can seriously dance, so it will be exciting to see their new work. (Takao Norikoshi, Writer, Dance Critic)
