A room gliding towards allegory
<not quite right> is certainly more distorted than that. Legs on one side of a table on stage are easily short 30cm. This implication suggests what is to happen. Distortions make the space gradually lose its banal features, so that it falls into allegories of another time frame. Slidings, and rollings and tumblings and rattlings and flutterings transform work into play, and actions invert into dance. The coquetry of Alice by Lewis Carroll, Balthus‘ girls of “untamed grace”… if you see them on the street enjoying the “Acerola drink”, it makes it an even more sparkling world. (Ryoichi Enomoto, Creative Director)
